In common with many similar schemes affected by the War

the only just course that remains is te place the Prameters in the

same position when Peace is declared as when War brake out and I

feel this is se reasonable and obvious that it is quite unnecessary

to press the pint. Its practical application means that the

Premeters should be given a reasonable time from the declaration

⚫f Peace to satisfy the Government "regarding their financial

ability to carry out the Scheme".

I may add this is also the view taken by the Proneters

advisers in Lenden and I shall be much ebliged if you will be se

goed as to confirm that this is the attitude of the Colonial Office.
